The February 18 program will focus on the unique considerations for IP and tech transactions in bankruptcy. Our speaker, Joseph Yang, is a founding partner at PatentEsque Law Group, LLP, where he specializes in technology transactions, patent licensing and joint venture relationships. He has a broad range of experience in mergers and acquisitions, arbitration, litigation management and patent portfolio development. He served as VP & General Counsel of Cryptography Research, Inc. in San Francisco. Previously, Mr. Yang was Counsel at Skadden, Arps, where he co-founded and later led the IP Transactions practice in the Silicon Valley office. He is a nationally recognized author and speaker on IP law. Before becoming an attorney, he was a research engineer in the defense/aerospace and energy industries.
