SVIPLA Honors Inventor of the Year

SEPTEMBER PROGRAM:  SVIPLA is pleased to present Craig Hampel, as its 2009 Inventor of the Year. 

At Rambus for more than 13 years, Mr. Hampel is an inventor on 192 issued or pending patents in high-speed memory and interface technology.  He has been instrumental in the design and definition of both the company’s RDRAM® memory interface and XDR™ memory interface solutions.  Mr. Hampel has the distinction of being appointed as a Rambus Fellow, the company’s highest technical position.  Rambus, founded in 1990, is one of the world's premier technology licensing companies specializing in the invention and design of high-speed memory architectures.
